Darren Piper

Darren Piper serves as Vice President, Commercial Lender at Northwest Community Bank. A seasoned banking professional, Darren began his career in 2000 at New Milford Savings Bank and has specialized in commercial lending since 2002. Over the years, he has built strong relationships with business owners, real estate investors, and commercial clients across Connecticut.

In his role, Darren works closely with clients to understand their financing needs and deliver tailored solutions, including commercial real estate financing, equipment and working capital loans, construction lending, and SBA loan programs. His extensive experience and commitment to long-term partnerships have made him a trusted advisor in the banking industry.

A lifelong resident of New Milford, Darren proudly raised his three children there and now enjoys spending time with his grandchild. He is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served four years with honor and dedication.

Darren holds both a bachelor’s degree in finance and an MBA from Western Connecticut State University. Outside of work, he enjoys giving back to the community and staying active in the town he’s always called home.
