Gary Roman joined Collinsville Savings Society in 2012, as President and Chief Executive Officer and as Executive Vice President of the Connecticut Mutual Holding Company. Gary has been in banking in Massachusetts and Connecticut since 1982 and has been involved in all facets of banking; including residential and commercial lending, credit administration and as senior manager at various financial institutions. Gary is responsible for the operations of Collinsville Savings Society and the Residential Lending and Loan Servicing Departments of the Connecticut Mutual Holding Company.
Prior to joining the Bank, Gary was Senior Vice President at Windsor Federal Savings Bank and throughout his career has worked at regional banks including Webster Bank, Mechanics Savings Bank and Shawmut. Prior to banking, Gary spent several years working in the private business sector, as a chief financial officer in commercial real estate management and Development Company. Gary has been a resident of Canton, CT since 2012 and Suffield, CT for the prior thirty years. Gary plays an active role in the Canton community and in the past in North Central Connecticut. Gary was Chairman of the Johnson Memorial Medical Center in Stafford, CT, prior to moving to Canton. Gary currently is a member in the Avon/Canton Rotary Club and a board member on Canton Main Street, Inc., Canton Chamber of Commerce and as Chairman on Canton’s TIF Committee. Gary is an alumnus of the University of Connecticut and Western New England University.
